NAMI - Northern Virginia Support Groups

Please call before attending your first session to ensure the meeting hasn't been changed for that night.

The NAMI-Northern Virginia support group meetings consist of individuals and families coping with severe mental illness. They offer confidential emotional support and information about local services that may be able to help with specific problems.

NOTE: Some groups are designed for consumers, while others are for family/friends.

There is no cost for these groups.

Support Group Facilitator Training

The NAMI Northern Virginia Support Group Facilitator Training will be held at the NAMI National Office June 10, and June 11, 2006. If you are a member of a support group or are a current facilitator who has not received this training, please take this opportunity to attend.

The NAMI National Office is at Colonial Place Three, 2107 Wilson Blvd., Suite 300, Arlington, VA. It is across the street from the Court House Metro Station on the Orange Line.

We have openings for a few more people. For further details contact Marshall Epstein at 703-516-7975.
